So a few people have asked about this lately... so... I made a Patreon! I'm really excited because this will finally allow me to take the time to post all the photos and make all the tutorials I could never find the time for since I was so busy trying to make commissions work instead.
I'm still gonna keep up with my deviantArt for all you beautiful people, but there's also plenty of awesome stuff I never posted that is going to stay exclusive to my Patrons. Please take a look! If you're not interested in pledging but still want to help me out, please share this with your friends!
And of course, I still have my print store and prop shop up at www.firelightcosplay.com
Print Store is Open!

Like my work? Buy some of it! :D
Was that a good sales pitch? I'm not very good at this, LOL!
No, but seriously, I have my print store open now and it's full of some of my very favorite pictures, I hope you like them too!

Still plugging away!
So, I'm horrible at this journal thing. I'm supposed to update it at least once a month, right? Something like that? Sorry if I forget to...
Still have a ton of costumes in the works. My ADHD means everything's sitting at, oh, about 25% done. But it's all making progress somewhere, I promise!
I've also come across from spare tickets to Phoenix Comic-Con. Won a costume contest with my Twi'lek recently, it was pretty exciting. I'm trying to decide what to do with them, since I already bought tickets. Do I sell them and try to recover my original ticket price? Or just run them off in a contest?
Gearing up for Amazing Arizona!
So I hear it's the 2nd biggest con in the Phoenix area for nerds. Definitely excited to be going! We just finished up with DevCon, which for its first year was a pretty fantastic success, definitely glad to have gone. It was a great opportunity to test out some costumes and see what we liked and didn't like.
For now, we're working on finishing touches for existing costumes. A new hoodie for Gaige, new belts for Rio... and POSSIBLY a new corset for Verys. Verdict is still out on that one.
We are also going to buy an airbrush and some better paints, cause I dislike having to photoshop all the smudged paint back to blue! There's a brand
Con Schedule!
Christmas is coming way too fast! I've done basically no holiday shopping whatsoever, which is a bit disappointing because I usually have my act together. Ah well.
At any rate, gonna use this post to keep track of which cons we'll be at and where. If you're interested in getting some cosplay photos of yourself, that would be a great time to meet up and make use of my camera.
Jan 11 - DevCon (ASU West Campus, Phoenix)
Jan 24-26 - Amazing Arizona (Phoenix Convention Center)
Sometime in Feb/March - Renaissance Festival (Apache Junction, Phoenix area)
June 5-8 - Phoenix Comiccon
Updates to come, feel free to recommend events we ought to go
